Physical Constants

This is the list of commonly used physical constants in chemistry.

Each constant is expressed with its name, symbol, value and unit. For the conversion to different units, refer to Unit Conversion module.

To Print the Table:

The entire table of physical constants can be printed via either selecting File > Print or clicking on the Print button in the Toolbar section. The print dialog will appear and click OK to continue.

To Copy and Paste:

To Copy/Paste the entire table: Select Copy to Clipboard from Edit menu, the entire table will be copied into clipboard. Open the document in the application you would like to paste into (e.g. Word) and select Paste from Edit menu. The table of constants will be pasted onto the document as ascii text. The contents are fully editable.

To Copy/Paste a constant: Move the mouse cursor to point at the selected cell, or row, or column, you would like to copy and right-click to select your option. Open the document in the application you would like to paste into (e.g. Module Input of SoftChemistry or Word) and position the cursor into a desired location. then select Paste the entry. The table of constants will be pasted onto the document as ascii text. The contents are fully editable.

Right-click menu

There are five options on the right-click menu. These are used to copy data into the clipboard and paste into other applications. Print Table option is also available for users to output the entire table to a printer.
